Free Agent Draft?

Hey everyone, I don't have time right at this moment, but for sure I'll
set up a draft later tonight. Make sure you go through the FAs and
figure out who you want beforehand to help this go by as fast as
possible. You'll have a time limit to pick a player, and we'll go in
order of worst overall to highest overall. CPU teams will not get
picks, and if you don't make your pick within the allotted time (I'm
thinking 24 hours?) then you forfeit that pick as well as all
subsequent picks unless you post before the next round.

Am I
missing anything? Also, we need to get the situation with the
Colts/Saints owners sorted out before we can actually start this draft,
but hopefully we can get that taken care up sometime today or tomorrow.

sounds good to me, but 24 hours is quite a while, that could take until week 17 easily.

I was thinking another way to do this is to just have all the teams PM somebody with their FAs they want in priority order. The person getting the PMs could then go through the draft and assign the FAs.

I'd volunteer to do this, and then post all the results on here, so people can see there was no "funny business" going on. We could give people all weekend to send the PM, that gives them 2-3 days to list all the FA's they are interested in obtaining the rights to. I took a stab at this for my team and it took me about 15 minutes only to put together my list.

I think that might work best. I was trying to set it up a conventional draft style, but I don't think that's going to work... I'm in between classes right now, but I'll have more time to look at it later

Instead of PMs though, let's just have people post them in order on the forums themselves, just to avoid any mistakes at all

the problem with forums though is that it may influence your order?

Example: i make harrison my top pick, so then another owner moves him up based on that info they shouldnt be able to see my draft board

Hmmm... Maybe, but there really aren't that that many quality FAs. If I really wanted Harrison, I'd put him at the top regardless of other's picks, but I do understand what you're saying. I'll set it up through PMs then.
